Juniorsurfschool is a project born in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica where we will offer lessons for all levels and ages to improve and have fun in our beloved ocean.
But also we wanted to be part of the joy of the kids and people that don’t have the resources to learn this sport so we had the idea to use a % of the benefits for giving free lessons and boards for those who need.
THE TEAM
Junior
Rised in Santa Teresa and has being surfing since he was a kid and giving surf lessons during 15 years, one of the best surf instructors in town he wanted to has his own surf school and give the opportunity to new young local surfers to give lessons to people and teach them how to be a great instructor, so they can develop their own career and make their own money, because here not everyone can.
He is always helping them and trying to guide them on a good path. He is gonna be the main instructor for the clients and for the next instructors coming.
Júlia
Júlia gave life to this project. After graduating in Business management & Marketing, and worked as a Business Developer in Barcelona she decide to leave back her life in Barcelona and move to Costa Rica.
In Santa Teresa, she worked during 1 year in a Surfclub but she wanted to do one step and move forward. So she decided to create something unique. A surf school not only for tourists also for local kids who always wanted to enjoy this sport but didn’t have the chance to learn it because their resources. So hand by hand with his local friend Junior they’ve decided to start this project.

Mission
The juniorsurfschool main goal is to help others to take surf to the next level but also use this sport as an union community and show other kids with out resources that they are also valid to enjoy this great outdoorssport that gave you a lot of good values for life.
Vision
Our long-term vision is to be able to have taught many children this sport and that they can enjoy it on their own without the need for instructors, as well as to be able to sponsor the best child surfers without resources in national competitions.
